One More Week

We are staying here for another week.  We were planning on leaving Monday to go to Marathon, but when Bob went to pay for our stay of 9 nights he was told that paying for a month was cheaper. We changed plans and won't leave now until Feb 14. We won't spend a whole month here but certainly another week.
Tomorrow is the Captains birthday and we have to celebrate it right so I baked a cake today. I have only 1 round pan so I baked one layer removed it than baked the other layer. The layers came out uneven, but after I frosted it you would never know. I feel that this birthday for Bob will be very enjoyable since he is celebrating it this year in a sunny, warm, place instead of a usually cold snowy one.

Tonight I am making barbecue chicken with rice and green beans.
