We will be leaving here on Sunday. We will have spent 6 nights at this marina. I think that I mentioned before that the weather has been magnificent. Every day the temps have been in the high 70's to lower 80's with a slight breeze.
The marina's in Marathon are off of Route 1. Just like at home it is a busy road filled with stores and restaurants. This marina is the last one in Marathon. When you get to Route 1 and head south you leave the busy section and head towards the bridge.
Today, Bob went for a very long walk over the bridge to Pigeon Key. Brady and I stayed on the boat for some quiet time. He says it was about 6 miles round trip.
Next stop is Key West and Elizabeth and Sean will be coming in on Monday. We can't wait to see them.
Grilled Shrimp and Risotto tonight.

ReplyDeleteHI Bob and Denise,
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are really enjoying yourselves. I am also enjoying reading about your enjoyment! What a wonderful adventure. I love the photos of your stops along your journey. It's kinda like I'm on the trip vicariously. Thanks for taking the time to post photos and write a little something about each of your stops. Please say hello to Elizabeth for me. I'm sure that she will be taking photos while she is with you. She really has a whole lot of talent with a camera!
Thanks again for your wonderful blog,
Barbara Bourgette
