Okay, so you know how I said in a previous post that we had our plans made for Christmas. Well that;s not going to happen that way now.
That throttle cable that was suppose to be in Wednesday did not make it. It did not make it on Thursday either. So here we wait for Friday and hoping the cable will make it.
Now if we knew what we know now we could have rented a car and drove to Sarasota to pick up the cable and we would have been on our way
. Now we don't have enough time to make it to Titusville before heading home, our plan A. Bob goes to the office to let them know we need a month now and they tell him that the end of the month the marina is sold out with a waiting list, so no go that was plan B. We think about this for a day and decide to go to a mooring ball plan C.
Plan C means that we will not have electricity while we are away so we have to cook alot over the next couple of days or try to give away some of the food in the freezer.
We now have a car reserved for Saturday, so after Bob picks it up, we will load it, move boat to mooring ball and wait for launch and then start our trip home.
It just goes to the saying that plans made while boating are made in the sand where the tide comes in and changes it, so you start over again.
This will be my last blog until we return to the boat after the holidays.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE AND A HAPPY HEALTY NEW YEAR
Tonight is shrimp with pasta and a salad.

Merry Christmas to you and Bob oh.. Brady too! We can identify with the planning thing for sure. We never would of thought we would still be in SC but...it could be much worse. We left the boat and headed home Friday (temp a warm 67 and sunny) and are now landed in our dirt dwelling saturday afternoon (33 and cloudy)
