We were suppose to leave St.Augustine today, but the winds were really strong. They were 30knts sustained with 40knt gusts. With those numbers Bob wanted to stay in the marina.
Just a little while ago Bob went to check out things on the helm. He had been feeling a little tightness in the throttle, so he thought he would just grease it up a llittle. Well of course thats not what it needed, it was broken. Now its after 5:00pm so the stores are closed for tonight. He called Mainship to find out the part number for a replacement. He is removing the cable tonight and will be on the search tomorrow for a new one. So we will be staying in St Augustine until its fixed. Its really not a bad place to be delayed at.
It was cold and windy all day so tonight its chicken noodle soup
