First, I would like to apologize for not posting yesterday. That was the first time I did not post since starting this trip. I did tell all you followers that I would post each day, but yesterday I don't know where the time went.
Okay then to catch you all up, we were in Oriental NC yesterday and today Beaufort NC,
The trip to Oriental was a cloudy day in the morning and in the afternoon the sun did shine. Once we were tied to the slip we went in search for a West Marine store. If you remember the attempted  rescue of the sailboat a few days back thats when we broke our bow light. So Bob got the new one and installed it.
Oriental is quiet and layed back with a a few restaurants
Dinner in Oriental was pasta with sausage, peppers and onions along with fresh bread.
Today we left a little later than we usually do because the trip to Beaufort was not that far. One of the things that I could not wait to see are dolphins. Today I saw the first dolphin of the day a little while later Bob saw one and then we saw a pod of them. That was really exciting for me.
We arrived here in Beaufort around 1:00pm, It only took us about 3 hours. This is really a town you could spend some time in. There are so many restaurants along the Main St. you will not go hungry. We stopped and got fish sandwiches from one for lunch today. Beaufort is hopping with people strolling along the boadwalk and Main St. We will be spending 2 nights here and it should be only about 4 more days to Charleston. That is where we will leave the boat, rent a car and head out to Sparta TN to have Thanksgiving with our daughter Stephanie, her boyfriend Matt, friends of theirs, and Bobs mom and husband.
