Pork Chops and Applesauce

We were planning to spend another night in Elizabeth City, but the weather changed and today was the best day to cross the Albermale Sound. It is a large body of water that gets nasty. Today the winds were suppose to be 10 -15 knots but we heard they were more like 15-17 knots with gusts to 20. We only planned to go across the sound to the Alligater River Marina so that was only 23 miles. It was a little bumpy but not too bad.
Liberty at Alligator River Marina

Gas station and convenience store with a restaurant in front
Marina and fuel dock in the rear

They have bears and alligators around these parts

Tomorrow they open this bridge and we go under it

Local crabber came in and was unloading his catch

He said that this was a good catch

Tomorrows dinner for someone
This marina also is a truck stop so tonight  for dinner as you might have already guessed is Pork Chops, Collards and Potato Salad cooked by Miss Wanda.
