Charleston SC that is. Well we made it to our only destination in plenty of time to go to Tennessee for Thanksgiving. After that we will just go slowly south and stay wherever looks good.
Today was quite different for scenery than the last few days. There were no big homes that lined the ICW, just alot of tall grasses and marsh lands. It really was one of the prettiest days on the water that I have seen. Even the water is getting lighter in color. It was sunny and nice all day.
We left around 7:00am, the earliest start so far and arrived in Ashley Marina around 2:00pm. When we left the marina this morning there were 2 power boats leaving at the same time and we followed them all day. It was nice to have these boats set the pace. I think Bob would have gone slower in some of the narrower parts of the water, but kept up with the boats. We kept a nice steady pace all day.
Bob has a childhood friend who lives here and we have visited him a few times before so we have seen Charleston and we love it here. Bob called him when we arrived and he came to the boat around 4:00pm. It was great to see David again. We talked for a while and now Bob and David have gone out to dinner. For me I had leftover pot roast.

Congrads on ringing the bell in Charleston. Hows the Ashley Marina? We have rid ourselves of the rent a wreck and tomorrow we pick up a SUV (hertz) that hopefully will get us home for Turkey Day.
