Noises--Dolphins--Police....Oh My

Yes, we have made it to another state, Georgia
Today was an interesting day. We left the marina this morning around 7:30am. About 5 minutes into the trip we heard a sound that we couldn't figure out. There was the Town Docks right ahead of us, so we pulled in to the fuel dock. We needed fuel and a pumpout so it was a good place to be to check out our mystery sound. Bob couldn't find anything out of place and when he started the engine again the sound was gone. As we were wating for the fuel dock to open at 8:30am we watched a sailboat try to leave his slip when the current got him and pushed him between a piling and a sailboat. Bob went over to help him. He did some damage to the sailboat. The people were not on that sailboat so the guy pulled up to the fuel dock to wait for the people to return
Once fueld up and emptied out we were on our way.
Today was the day that dolphins played in our wake and that was great fun for me to watch.
Once we crossed into Georgia a little ways, we got stopped by the Water police. Bob was going to fast through a no wake zone. We had not seen the signs ( I know not an excuse) We were given a verbal warning. So we said thank you and slowed down the rest of the way.
We are now in the Isle of Hope Marina in Savannah GA. We will be here 2 days because there is a storm coming. When we leave here its either going to be a long day, 85 miles to the next marina or we cut the day in half and achor out. Bob has to fix the dinghy if we want to anchor, so stay tuned to see what we do.
