Foggy Day

We had dinner with Bill and Linda from "Wayward Wind"
a Nordhaven

Dowry Creek Marina puts on a pot luck supper almost every night

Marty from SeaPaws with a fellow cruiser
Woke  up today to fog. We left the marina with the captain not so sure we should. About 5 minutes into the trip we turned back and waited out the fog. We met a nice couple Marty and Bueno on Sea Paws who invited us to their boat for a cappucino and some very helpful cruising info while we waited for the fog to lighten up. We followed them for the day in the fog to Dowry Creek Marina in Belhaven NC. The marina hosted a chicken dinner for all the boaters that came in. We met alot of great fellow boaters.
Tomorrow we will head to Oriental NC. We have heard alot of good things about that town. We will probably spend 2 nights there.

  2. Did you get to check out the Nordhavn? Your boating blog is starting to look like all the other boating blogs I follow, (and that is a VERY good thing/sign.) Looks like you are having a blast and living the dream! Have a Lenonaid for me (and one for Liz). Also Mom...you are beyond White Zinfandel, get something new and help show those other cruisers out there there is SOOOO much more good wine out there:-)
    Love you Mom and Dad!

    Love your wine-snob Son-in-Law, A1 :-)
