Brrrrrrr.....

Boy, today was a cold one. When I got off the boat this morning around 6:00am to take the dog for a walk it was coooooold. We wanted to leave around 7:00am so thats why an early dog walk, I actually wore 4 layers of clothes today. We had all the canvas closed up and as the sun rose so did the temps in the boat. I started removing layers one at a time.  Don't worry I was still fully covered by the fourth layer.
We went 66 miles today and it took 6 hours. I think we made pretty good time today because there were not many boats and the water was pretty wide open.
Now just like bad car drivers, there are bad boat drivers (don't want to call them captains) on the water and every couple of days you meet one. Today was a Silverton that was barreling down the waterway not calling anyone for a pass and just zooming by causing all kinds of wakes. Everyone would get on the radio and yell but it made no difference to that boat. He continued on to his next victims. Even the bridge master was yelling at him to go to idle speed when going under the bridge.
We are at the Lady Island Marina in Beaufort, SC for the night and tomorrow on to Isle of Hope marina in GA.
Burgers and potato salad for dinner tonight.
