Our 2nd day in Georgetown we awoke to rain. Luckily it only rained for about 15 mins around 6:00am. The forcast was for all day rain..but we know how accurate the forcasters are.
We still had to wait for the wiper motor so we decided to trek into town. It really was not that far. We have walked further to get into other towns we have visited. We heard about this world famous bakery Kudzu. We have been trying to find a good bakery so we could get good crusty italian bread for the last couple of weeks. They just don't seem to bake that kind of bread down here in the south. At least everywhere that I have checked so far. This bakery has got rave reviews from other boaters so I sent Bob in to get something good. He came out with brownies, cookies, muffins, coffee rolls, and bread. I think the town should have been further so we could walk off the calories that we will be eating.
The motor did show up and Bob installed it. Not without a little bit of frustration because it was not exactly the same one that he removed, but he never met a challange he could not handle.
Tonight we had soup, salad and some bakery bread.
