There are many Navy ships located here

Yes, thats right... let me hear a hip hip hooray!!!!!!. The captain was right when he said that today would be a good day on the water. The winds were light and from the north. That made for a pleasant day on the Bay.
We are here in Norfolk VA at the Waterside Marina. We are in the center of Norfolk, We already took a walk around the city and its really beautiful. Walked by the Nauticus Navy museum where they have the USS Wisconsin. We have not decided if 1 or 2 nights here.
I failed to mention in a previous post that Bob had seen a pelican. We saw many more today so that means we are headed in the right direction.
When we leave here, we will be in the ICW. Thats the place we have so wanted to take the boat. The trip so far has been fun, even with the wind and mechanical delays. I feel so fortunate to be taking  this trip with Bob and Brady. Yes even Brady, He does keep us from going out to dinner because he refuses to be left on the boat alone, but that saves us money. When we want to get together for drinks with other boaters we will just host them on Liberty.
Dinner tonight is Hooters wings, they are right next door to the marina.
