Going South

US Navy warship

Doziers Regatta Point Marina in Deltaville VA

Enjoying the warm afternoon sun and a little vino

It's difficult to fall off wide, stable concrete docks
.......unless you drink too much leninade
This morning was our time to head further south. The winds were light and seas were fine. When we left the Potomac and entered the Chesapeake Bay Bob saw what he thought was a submarine. Yes, that is exactly what it was. You would hear the Coast Guard hail south moving vessels to stay clear away from the sub or else. I did see ships with guns so you better obey. They said it was heading to Annapolis.
We are now safely tied to a slip in Deltavillle ,Va. The marina is the Dozier Regatta Point, it really is a nice place. They have a captains lounge with flat screen tv, computer, books and games. In the morning they have orange juice, coffee and donuts.
It is very sunny and warm today, it really feels that we have finally found the warm air, at least for today. Tomorrow is suppose to cool down. The winds are starting to pick up at 1:45pm so I am very glad to be sitting here calm.
We have found a pizza place that delivers here so thats what we will have for dinner.
