This is what happens to your boat if you don't follow your wife's directions in the fog

US Navy "Grasp" in the Elk River
We awoke this morning to heavy fog in Bear Delaware, which delayed our departure. We left at 8:00am instead of 7:00am. With the sun rising we thought that the fog would diminish. Some spots were so thick that we could not see anything in front of us. The electronics we had on board helped us see and we navigated the C & D canal like pros. The fog did get lighter once we reached the Chesapeake Bay. The seas were perfectly calm.
We arrived here at Bert Jardins Yacht Yard around 2:30pm in light rain.
The mechanic came over around 4:00pm and diagnosed the problem as a cracked lube oil cooler. The only way it would crack is from being frozen. So all that money that we paid to have the engine winterized each year....Well I guess you know. The part we need is ordered and will be here Friday am and they will install it.
Tomorrow we have rented a car and will go out and see things and get supplies.
Saturday we hope to leave here and head to Solomons Island, MD
Tonight we had pasta and salad and it hit the spot.
