Cape May Day 5

Well, we woke this morning and the weather looked fine. Everyone at the marina was leaving today. There were 5 sailboats and 5 powerboats including us. We went through the Cape May canal which was very smooth then out into Delaware Bay. The Bay was pretty nasty but we still thought okay uncomfortable but we can make it. About a mile in, the dinghy had lost some air so the straps were not tight and it was bouncing around and taking water. The deciscion was made to turn around, go back to the marina. Its not fun not to keep heading south ,but safety and comfort come first. Tomorrow lets hope the weather cooperates.
