So here is the rest of the leaky story. The mechanic came last night around 7:30pm to scope out the situation. He said he would come back today with a camera on a wand to see where the leak was coming from. He did and still could not really see. The problem is he would have to dismantle part of the engine and then would have to send out for any parts that he would need. So he recommended we go to Annapolis tomorrow to the largest Yanmar dealer in MD.
Tomorrow we will go to Bert Jardin Yacht and stay until the leak is found and fixed.
You know what they say about owning a boat...."its a hole in the water that you throw money in to"
Could be small fix or large, don't know until they go in.
At least Annapolis is heading south.

ReplyDeleteSorry you have to delay your trip with a repair stop, but it's part of the adventure. I'll be hoping for the small fix.
